On November 18, 2020, Offshore drilling contractor Vantage Drilling has secured more work for its jack-up rig in Indonesia. Vantage Drilling said that its jack-up drilling rig Pearl Driller (Ex- Soehanah) has won a 45-day well job with Petronas Carigali for operations offshore Indonesia. The contract is scheduled to end in the first quarter of 2021. The estimated dayrate of rig to be around $ 75,000.
On Sept 21, 2020, Vantage Drilling said the jackup rig Pearl Driller (Soehanah) has been awarded a 35-day well (plus mobilization) from a Mubadala Petroleum subsidiary, Pearl Oil (Sebuku) Ltd. offshore Indonesia, commencing in Q4 this year. Vantage purchased the Soehanah rig and renamed it Pearl Driller again in 2019. The 2007-built rig is working in Indonesia. Vantage has not revealed the day fee for the rig, however Bassoe Offshore estimates it to be round $80,000. The gig is scheduled to start out in October and finish in November 2020.

On Feb 25, 2020, Vantage Drilling said, its jackup rig Pearl Driller has been awarded a contract by Ophir to work in Indonesia for a period of 45 days. The driller also said the jackup rig is also awarded yet another contract by Medco Energy to work in Indonesia for a duration of 135 days. The contract is expected to start from April 25, 2020 and run until Sept 06, 2020. The estimated dayrate of the rig for the 2nd contract is also US $ 85 000.
On March 14, 2019, The driller also revealed itself as the buyer of the Soehanah rig, increasing its jack-up fleet to five units. In its financial report said it had bought the Soehanah jack-up drilling rig. The unit has been renamed Pearl Driller.
