On March 2, 2020, (Dubai, UAE), Shelf Drilling,
Ltd. (“Shelf Drilling” and, together with its subsidiaries, the “Company”, OSE: SHLF) announces results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2019 ending December 31. Shelf Drilling said it has two rigs working in Egypt. The first jack-up rig Trident 16 and the second is Rig 141, which is contracted to Gemsa Petroleum Company (Gempetco). This rig 141 is under contract until April, 2020 with options for extensions. In Shelf Drilling’s fourth quarter results, announced at the beginning of March, the rig was said to have received a six-month extension. The customer has two 3-month options. Extension of previous contract will start from May 2020 and run until Sept 2020. The estimated dayrate of the contract is US $ 55 000.
